KORIFI - KANAKARIS

The activity of the Kanakari family with dairy has begun for three generations. Since 1930 with his grandfather Zapheiris KANAKARIS in the cheese industry in the region of Serres. In 1957 he becomes the first traditional Yoghurt workshop by Father Nikolaos Kanakari.
In 1989 the sons of Zafeiris and Kyriakos KANAKARIS founded their own yoghurt production company. In 1998, under the brand name KORYFI, the SPECIAL Salad Salad is known to be a great success and thus comes into the field of professional packaging very quickly. They cooperate with large companies in the field (Salad Industries, Catering Catering) Hotels, Restaurants) A large investment project is being implemented in 2004.

The new state-of-the-art production facilities and mechanical equipment of 800,000 Euro where the TOP is installed.
Since 2004, export activity has begun with exports reaching 1000 tons of yoghourt yarn per year, covering 50% of production.
In 2010, the new investment plan of 500,000 euros is being completed, which concerns building expansion and purchase of new mechanical equipment.
In 2013, the top goes into the cheese industry, producing the finest top quality Serna top, knowing with great success at the same time expanding its facilities with storage stones of 500 square meters and new mechanical equipment to cover their production needs.
